Extract (with a PortableApps folder at the device's root) and run AbiWordPortable.
Only en-US dictionary for spell checking, download for your language and extract in App\dictionary
If you drag'n drop a file on (or open with) AbiWordPortable: it will be opened in AbiWord.
Settings of installed AbiWord should be preserved.
