The President Is Coming (2009) DVDRip

Six Hundred Million Young Indians. He Wants One. The film explores a day in the life of 6 contestants who will stop at nothing as the US President is coming to town. Konkona plays as Maya Roy, one of the six contestants who will represent New India in front of the President.

How wonderful to see the first of it’s kind and an Indian mockumentary. The film was good fun – the audience loved it and laughed the whole way through. The actors were all very strong – and the script was fast paced and very theatrical. The President is Coming is a very funny satire that not only lampoons Bush, but also takes a rib-tickling dekko at the stereotype of the Indian youth.
