This will remove Microstufts Instant Messenger (MSN). This wotked in WinXP Pro, but may work on others....
So, go to START-->RUN copy and paste the following:
QUOTE
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
Clink ok. No more msn process lwink.gif
